Kid-Friendly Eats: A Guide to the Best Restaurants for Families in Bozeman, Montana

Welcome to Bozeman, Montana, where you will see babies in bars and children crawling on pool tables. But these are a few options for parents to enjoy a beer and delicious food while having a yummy meal! I do not have kids, but after being a server for five years and going out with friends, I have left my notes page open for the best places to bring kids. I am going to kick off with breakfast spots, then go to lunch and dinner, and end it all with ice cream!

Jam: I worked here for 3 years! They are known to have long lines, so if you want to run across the street to grab the kid’s Stuffed crepes to keep them happy, I highly suggest that. They have a kid’s coloring menu and will keep bringing all the necessary crayons. Everything on the adult menu can be bought as a kid’s size. But the most ordered things were pancakes, scrambled eggs, and freshly squeezed OJ.

Stuffed: They now have two locations in Bozeman! If you are looking for a quick and fast breakfast, Stuffed is a great option! They have sweet and savory crepes with many options for coffee, tea, and juice. The lobby is a little small, but they have a lot of outdoor seating. If you go to the downtown Stuffed, they are next to Country Bookshelf, which has a great kids’ section in the back!

Freshies: If you visit the Museum of the Rockies with the kiddos, I suggest going here before or after. I am telling you about this cafe because it has a sweet little kids’ nook with toys to play with under the stairs. I am not going to lie; Freshies isn’t going to be your favorite place you ate in Bozeman. But they offer healthy options for the kids; it’s just a little overpriced.

Offering a variety of specialty pizzas and sandwiches, there’s something for everyone on the menu at Audrey’s. But the real bonus for kids is the arcade! While the adults enjoy some locally brewed beer, the kids can have fun with a selection of arcade games.
