It’s that time of year… February! The month of love, dates, googly eyes, and of course, Valentine’s! Are you still unsure of where you want to take your date? Are your date nights becoming repetitive, or maybe you’re out of ideas and just not sure where to go on your next one, read this list! I absolutely love going on dates where we will learn something new or try something we haven’t yet! Every day we come home to our two-bedroom apartment, turn on HBO Max, make some spaghetti and do the same thing. It’s time to shake it up! I combined a few of my favorite places here in Bozeman and made y’all a list of fun date nights that you can go on with your partner, girlfriend, or crush on Hinge, so you don’t have to take time researching!
Date day at The Market
Grab a coffee or snack from Foxtrot, then make your reservation at Cat Show Cafe! Spend an hour with the kittens! Then go to The Garden Barn and peruse all the fun trinkets and stickers. Shop at Salchicha, then head over to The Viv and say hi to all of the different pets! After that it should be dinner time! And you have three great options for dinner! Nordic brewing, Tanglewood, and Hachi Sushi Bar! If you are still feeling it and need a little night cap head over to Single Barrel for a night cap, or grab a bottle from their liquor store!
Biome Slowcraft
Ranging from an art workshop, to an event and retail space, Biome has so much to offer! Wanting to learn something together? Come here and choose one of the many classes they offer and get creative! From stained glass, embroidery, ceramics, to metal smithing, loom weaving and painting! Make sure to sign up ahead of time, just in case J After taking a class, head to the shop section and peruse through all the local artists goods!
Last Best Comedy
In need of a good laugh? Or maybe you need a break from being the one at the table entertaining friends! Head over to the Last Best Comedy and all laugh together! They have incredible shows, open mic nights and hilarious standup comedians! Get your tickets, grab a drink and a table (close to the stage, you may be picked on!) and see if you and your date share the same humor!

Cooking classes at La Cuisine
If you’re looking to take a cooking class together, or maybe wanting your partner to learn how to cook with you… hehe, or you both want to learn a new dish! Well you’re in luck. La Cuisine is your place! There are so many different style classes here, it’s insane! Be sure to check the website and sign up ahead of time, they sell out quick! Classes range from, Mardi Gras style, Hawaiian Axis Deer, Mussels, Apres Ski Swiss Style, Burgers, Italian, Thai and baked goods! So much to choose from, it’s hard to choose! Ponderosa Social Club:
This place has everything. I love it here! If you want a fun place to go with drinks, food and games, this is the place for you! They offer amazing food, delicious cocktails, billiards, bowling, games, an incredible view, and so many other activities! This place speaks for itself. Have fun!
The Bowl:
If that sounds fun to you but you want it a tad more casual, or you just want to bowl and eat bar food, head to the Bozeman Bowl! Loads of bowling lanes, great bar food, and a bar (with incredible jello-shots ready for you! The watermelon flavor is my favorite!)
Lockhorn Cider
Not in the mood for a beer or cocktail? Are you a Cider lover? Great! Pop over to Lockhorn and check out this small family owned cidery. Grab a flight so you can try out as many natural hard ciders as you can! Their tasting room is now a remodel of a historic farm house with an outdoor patio. So, grab those ciders and head outside to stoke the fire while taking in a beautiful view.
Dance lessons with Western Roots
Feeling comfortable with each other already? In need of getting your groove on? Western groove that is! Come to Western Roots for dance lessons and a good ol’ boot scootin’ boogie time! They offer Basic or Intermediate Swing, Line Dancing, Two-Step and of course, a Way Out West Fashion night with a fashion show with an end to the night with Honky Tonk dancing!

Pour Studio
The most romantic and magical thing you could do, create your own light together. How cute is this?! Come to the Pour Studio and make your own candle in the Historic Cannery District. They have open pour hours (walk ins available) or you can book your own private pour experience! Check this place out, you won’t regret it!
Bodhi Farms
Maybe you’re both looking for more of a getaway? Relaxing day trip? When you get there start your day with a Sleigh Ride, Snowmobiling or Hot Springs! Then head to their Wood Fired Sauna to loosen those muscles a bit before your incredibly relaxing Tipi Massage surrounded by nature using local and organic ingredients. End your night with a Farm dinner before getting cozy and smoking those smores at your Tipi Glamping tent! What an incredible day they have to offer! I’m about to book mine right now just writing this, wow!
Rook’s Games and More & Cactus Records
In need of a friendly Board Game Night? Maybe your home selection is looking a little bare. Not to worry, Rook’s has a HUGE board game selection! Name it, they have it! If you find one but not sure if you’d like it, you can head upstairs to try it out! Everyone here in incredibly friendly and helpful, so don’t be scared to ask questions or ask them what their favorites are. Once you pick out your game, head over to Cactus Records. Peruse their fun gifts and then grab that record you’ve always wanted! Now you have a new record, and a new game. Head on home for your chill game night in.

Roller Skate Night
Biome Slow Craft offers a 70’s Roller Skate Night ONE Friday a month at the Fairgrounds! How fun does this sound! I will definitely see y’all there. I’ll be the one falling every 5 minutes, so help me out if you see me! Check their Instagram posts for updates, as I’m not sure when the February one will be. Get those groovy 70’s clothes on and party with DJ Swoon cranking out the best of the Disco Era. Trick and Costume Contests will be held, so come prepared!
Chatelaine Chocolat
Maybe you have a sweet tooth, and are in the mood for all things CHOCOLATE! Look no further. La Chatelaine Chocolat Co. offers chocolate tasting! Taste all their goodies and go home with a box of your favorites to share with a glass of red wine next to the fireplace. Sounds lovely. Artisan chocolates aside, you can also find homemade marshmallows, caramel or chocoalate sauces, toffee, chocolate covered fruits/nuts/espresso beans, sipping chocolate, brownies, and incredible French baked goods. You won’t leave this place empty handed chocolate lover or not!

7th Ave Food Trucks
Head down to 7th Ave. in Bozeman for a fun smorgasbord of Bozeman’s best food trucks! You can sip on a coffee from Nexus while perusing the book store on wheels at Isle of Books. Then take a little food tour grabbing all sorts of different cuisines from Ramires Mexican Food, Cholms Burgers, Electric Poke, and many more! Then of course, you’ll need to top it all off and end your night with the deliciously creamy ice cream form Michoacán!
