Paradise Valley Montana Wedding

RSVP to the wedding of your dreams!
Who: A Apsaalooke couple and their closest friends and family.

What: An intimate micro-wedding with a gorgeous view.

When: Spring or Summer.

Where: Paradise Lodge in Emigrant, MT (near Yellowstone National Park)

Here’s your itinerary: You’ll fly into Bozeman International Airport and meet up with your family. You can dole out tasks and then divide and conquer your errands.

Head to Plume Bridal in historic downtown Bozeman for your full bridal look: the dress, the veil, the accessories. If you have any bridesmaids, make sure they tag along to pick up their gowns. Meanwhile, anyone who is planning on suiting up for the occasion will be over at Ethos picking up their formalwear. Next you’ll drive to White Bear Moccasins to get your gorgeous custom shoes from Shauna White Bear. Don’t get too peckish when you collect your wedding desserts from Erika, of Beatnik Sugar. She’s a gem and will meet you anywhere in town if you’re worried about time. Your final B-town stop is Biome Slowcraft, where you’ll select some fun items to help you celebrate and remember the day, whether that’s a notebook or a bolo tie or any final accessories.

Now it’s time to hit the road and set Google Maps’s sights on Emigrant, Montana. Paradise Lodge is a large AirBnB perfectly named for its vibes and its location in Paradise Valley. You’ll probably want to make a pit stop at the Lodge to unload your car and divy up the 5 bedrooms and 6 beds. Once you’ve made yourself at home, it’s high time for a celebratory meal! You’ll drive a quick 5 minutes to Old Saloon in Emigrant to cheers your upcoming nuptials.
Fast forward to the next morning, and it’s time for breakfast in bed. But it’s your wedding day so you send a sibling or friend out to get fresh baked goods and/or a sampling of breakfast burritos from Wildflour Bakery, right next to Old Saloon. Once you’ve had the most important meal of the day (muffins), you’ll welcome Cultured Roots and head to one of the bedrooms to get ready. While Destini is working her magic on your hair, Casey from Stigma & Style will arrive with your floral arrangements. And then there’s one last arrival: me! Leanna of Leanna Joy Photography! I’ll snap some photos of you and your soon-to-be spouse getting pampered and I’ll get any photos you may want of the flower arrangements, moccasins, accessories, etc.

One of the highlights of Paradise Lodge is that each bedroom has its own bathroom. That might not mean much to you if you didn’t grow up with siblings or haven’t tried to get ready with more than 2 other women, but it’s kiiiiiind of a big deal. Everyone has space to spread out their makeup and curling irons comfortably.
While you’re getting ready, your additional friends and extended family can be starting their day at Chico Hot Springs (8-10 miles away) or Sage Lodge (5-7 minutes away). Chico is a famous, historic resort with dining, pools, and hot tubs. Sage Lodge is a newer luxury resort with a restaurant and spa. Either way, your guests will be well taken care of.

The obvious perk of Paradise Lodge is the incredible location. Once you’re all gussied up, I’ll drive you over to some perfect spots with unobstructed views of the mountains. I’ll hype you up while you and your fiance pose and ogle at each other. I’ll get you back to the Lodge before all of your guests arrive and you can join your party as everyone else heads over to the flower arch, a short walk from the Lodge. Finally, it’s the big moment! You and your beloved will walk down the aisle and say your vows.

Once the ceremony is over and the celebration is commencing, you’ll head back inside to enjoy a catered meal from Follow Your Nose BBQ. Then you can blast some music and dance or just enjoy an evening of conversations with all of your favorite people. The next morning you can relax into married life with a trip to Yellowstone Hot Springs and then a leisurely drive through Yellowstone National Park (about 30 minutes away).

Does this sound like your dream wedding? If so, I’ve linked all of the locations and businesses so you can start booking.
